High-precision, compact handheld photon counter!!
This is an introduction to the "Quantum Light Meter" from Senekom Co., Ltd. [Authorized distributor of Apogee in the United States], which provides a wide range of sensors from agriculture, industry, and field measurements to experiments.
It is a light quantum meter that efficiently detects the wavelengths necessary for plant growth and displays them immediately.
This is a device that measures the effective light quantum in the wavelength range of 400 to 700 nm, which is the most important for plant growth. Photosynthesis is greatly influenced by the number of photons in the 400 to 700 nm range. This light is referred to as photosynthetic photon flux (PPF), and this device has the characteristic of being able to directly measure this value.
